Jordan Sorgert, Quality Engineer

Jordan

I started with our assembly group doing packaging and medical assembly.  A coworker mentioned that the team needed help implementing a new ERP system so I started building BOMs and helping with document control.  Then I became a quality tech for about three years.  I also helped manage our approved supplier list and got involved with audits.  From there, I became the quality lab supervisor for a year and a half and gained some management experience.  Now I’m a quality engineer which was always been my goal.

My experience at Advanced has been good overall.  You learn that the operators do a lot, but the office workers do a lot for the company as well and it feels like a family.  I think overall everyone wants to strive to grow and we have room to get better.  I’ve also learned not to be afraid to ask someone for help or to be persistent in pursuing growth opportunities.
