Prior to being hired at Advanced one of the first questions I had were regarding the culture. During my discussions with the people, I learned how the core values were being demonstrated and I was very intrigued. All six of the values are important in creating a progressive, positive culture that drives success in both the company and the individual.
With over a decade of experience in operational excellence/lean, the two core values that particularly resonated with me were "inquisitive, intelligent, and willing to learn" and "willing to listen, teach, and share knowledge." These cores values epitomize continuous improvement by allowing all people to be open to ask questions, challenge the process or procedure, gain more knowledge, and drive positive change. Being willing to teach and share knowledge is very important as it unleashes talent that may never have been recognized otherwise.
